Masterfoods hand out free chocolate

Chocolate maker Masterfoods, who have recently been at the centre of an extortion bid ( Chocolate poisoning in New South Wales & 1 million chocolate bars to be buried ), handed out 20,000 chocolate bars in Sydney on Sunday in an effort to recover from the recall and destruction of millions of chocolate bars.

Having been forced to withdraw their Mars and Snickers bars from sale in New South Wales after receiving threatening letters and a contaminated candy bar, it turns out that Sydney's Star City Casino was actually the principal target.

Masterfoods, having spoken to police and health authorities, believe that the threat has now passed and will be resuming sales of Mars and Snickers to New South Wales.
