Character websites launched for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film

In advance of the launch of the remake of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp, Warner Brothers Pictures have launched five character websites. At each of the websites you can download stencils, stickers, avatars and other items.

With the film hitting theaters on July 15 there is certain to be a great interest in the characters and their websites.

• GloopWantsYou.com - his greediness Augustus Gloop who's hobbies include eating all the chocolate and candy he can get his hands on
• IWantMyMikeTeavee.com - Mike Teavee, highly smart though not a "fan" of chocolate, prefers his computer
• OompaInvasion.com - support the Oompa Loompas, they know their snozzwanger from their whangdoodle
• Veruca-Assault.com - Veruca Salt wants you to look at her website NOOOOOOOOOOW!
• VioletReaction.com - Violet Beauregarde, wins everything she attempts, big on gum chewing
