Divine chocolate at G8
Little chocolate treats laid on the pillows in bedrooms are not an uncommon sight in upmarket hotels. However this week delegates to the G8 Africa summit at Gleneagles in Scotland will find something a little different on their pillows.
A bar of Divine chocolate.
Divine chocolate is a Fairtrade product produced by a cocoa growing co-operative in Ghana. Co-operatives work for self-reliance and trade, and this gives Africa a way forward, rather than just sitting back and waiting for promised aid and debt cancellation.
Divine chocolate is also available throughout the UK in supermarkets, wholefood stores and other retail outlets. Buying it makes a real contribution to farmers in Africa.
