Cadbury's Caramilk chocolate eggs recall in Canada
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CIFA) is monitoring the nationwide recall of some Cadbury chocolate eggs.
The public are being warned not to eat the 39g Cadbury Caramilk, 39g Caramilk Maple and 39g Caramilk Café chocolate eggs as a result of pieces of hard plastic being found in the eggs.
Evidently the plastic moulds used to manufacture the eggs have caused this problem to occur, and the manufacturer, Cadbury Adams Canada Inc., Toronto, Ontario, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from on sale.
The eggs are sold individually or in packs of 3, 6 or 12 eggs, the product codes to avoid are:
- Caramilk - 39g - 0 615712 4
- Caramilk Maple - 39g - 0 615882 2
- Caramilk Café - 39g - 0 615892 9
